Scoobydoo was a surrender. Her first owner died and her friend took Scooby in. After about a year, they had to move and couldn't take her with them. Scooby is a sweetheart. She is a plucker but she no longer chews her wings down to nothing. It took her awhile but she has become a fairly good talker. We love her and glad to have her as a member of our flock.
Buddy had been turned into Middleburg Humane Rescue. There wasn't much information on him. We are his 3rd home and will remain with us. He is a talker and sometimes you cannot tell what he is saying. But I do know he talks a lot on the phone.
Maggie is a hoot. She loves to talk and will join in on your conversations. She sings songs like "Happy Trails'. Will post video as soon as I can. Charlie came to us from a friend who needed to re-home him. He loves Maggie. We almost lost him several years due to a unknown issue. With the help of Dr. Crum and Rita, he pulled through after 4 months. Unfortunately, he has stopped talking and singing. Rita came over every morning to help me give him his meds as long as I needed her.
Mr. Fletcher loves hanging out with me in the sewing/craft room. He was a re-home to me by a friend who no longer could keep him. He is one smart little fellow. Talks up a storm. He has learned a lot of words from Miss Maggie, our Yellow Nape Amazon.
Sydney came to us because his owner was having health issues and it was just a lot for her to adequately care for him, like he deserved, while she was going for her treatments. He is a very sweet boy. She has kept in touch with me to check on Sydney.
Lucky is a Yellow-Sided Green Cheek Conure. He was rescued from the Prince William County Animal Shelter and is 6 years old. He was rescued with a broken leg and is recovering well!
